Sony recently announced its SF-G series UHS-II memory cards. Sony claims it to be the fastest SD card available in the market. This card has a read and write speed of approximately 300MB/s. The size of data files is progressively increasing and therefore the users expect a more ehanced and optimized SD cards which can transfer data in less time. Sony’s UHS-II card is targeted for professional photographers, DSLR and Camera users . UHS-II card will allow the users to store larger files in shorter time.
Sony’s UHS II cards will come in different storage capacities and variants of 32GB, 64GB and 12GB. Other then speed the UHS-II cards will be more reliable and durable from its previous version. UHS-II cards will be waterproof, temperature resistant, shockproof and X-Ray proof. These features will increase the life of these cards. Another benefit of using UHS-II cards is the data recovery of photos and videos. The price of these UHS-II card is still unknown but the cards will be available in market in March or April 2017.
