There have been a lots of confusion after Google bought part of HTC‘s mobile phone division for $1.1bn. The good news is that HTC is still in the business and will keep manufacturing smartphones. According to new report the Taiwanese company is working on HTC U series and is expected to launch its HTC U11 Plus in November.
HTC U11 Plus is codenames Ocean Master. This is will be HTC’s first handset to follow the recent trend’s introduced by other manufacturers this year. HTC U11 Plus is a device with minimal bezels with an 18:9 aspect ratio display.
According to FrAnroid HTC U11 Plus will come with a JDI made 6inch display and will have 1,440×2,880 resolution. The device will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835, the same processor that is used in Samsung S8, Note 8 and other flagship high end devices. HTC U11 Plus will have 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The device will have the same 12MP rear camera used by U11 and 8MP front camera. Other features of U11 Plus include IP68 water and dust resistance, squeezable frame with Edge Sense and Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0.
It is expected that HTC will launch its HTC U11 Plus devices in China on November 11. It is still clear whether HTC plans to introduce these devices in other countries or not but if HTC wants to regain its market shares it will be a wise decision to launch these devices for international market.
