BlackBerry unveiled its all touch-screen smartphone at an electronic trade GITEX in Dubai. This is the same device BlackBerry Motion which was earlier leaked by Evan Blass on twitter. The BlackBerry Motion resembles to the KEYOne smartphone which was launched by the company earlier this year.
BlackBerry Motion is a mid range device which comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, Dual SIM, Snapdragon 625 processor 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, expandable memory card slot which supports microSD card up to 2TB and a 4,000mAh battery supported by QuickCharge 3.0. The device features a 12MP rear camera and dual tone LED. It has the ability to record 4K videos. The front camera comes with 8MP and features a selfie flash. BlackBerry Motion also features a front side fingerprint sensor.
As we know BlackBerry is well known for its security suites. The BlackBerry Motion comes with a security suite named DTEK which will offer FIPS 1240-2 Full Disk Encryption. The will be priced at about $450 and it will be available in Middle Eastern markets. The company has not mentioned anything about its global launch.
