Samsung Galaxy A series have been a successful addition to Samsung family. Samsung released Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 in 2017, both are mid-range devices with some really nice specifications. Samsung has planned to launch two Galaxy A series device in 2018, Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018). There have been some rumors that the Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will come with dual front camera support.
An official manual uploaded on Samsung website has confirmed that Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will come with dual front camera and infinity display. The dual front camera will allow users to take selfies with Bokeh effect. There is still no information available about the camera sensor but it is expected that the device will come with a 13-megapixel camera.
This is not the first Samsung device to come with a dual front camera for selfies, Samsung has previously released Samsung J7+ with dual front camera, which was exclusively launched for Chinese market. It is expected that Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will be available for international markets. Galaxy A8/A8+ camera app will have the same live sticker features as Galaxy S8.
Samsung A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) will have Bixby but there is no dedicate button. The device will also share some of the features only found in Samsung high-end devices including Always On Display, Samsung Pay over NFC and MST and on screen navigation keys. A8 and A8+ will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Both devices will be powered by a Exynos 7885 chipset, Samsung A8 (2018) will come with 4 GB RAM and 5.7 or 5.8 inches display, whereas A8+ will come with 6 GB of RAM and 6.01-inch display. The official launch date for Samsung A8 and Samsung A8+ is still not confirmed but since Samsung has uploaded the manual online on their official website we can guess that the devices will be launched soon.
