Huawei Announced Watch 2 Pro With e-SIM Support For $391

Huawei announced its Watch 2 Pro with eSIM support. The watch was announced in China and is available for purchase for ¥2588 approx. $391. Huawei Watch 2 Pro looks similar to the classic Watch 2 but comes with added feature of eSIM support.

Huawei Watch Pro 2 is weighs 64g and is made from stainless steel. It comes with 1.2 inche AMOLED screen with 326 ppi pixel desity. The watch is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100, has 758 RAM and 4GB internal storage. It comes with non removable Li-Ion 420mAh battery which can last for up to 48 h.

Other features include Corning Gorilla Glass, Android Wear OS 2.0, Dual MIC noise reduction, Bluetooth 2.1 support, Accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, compass and support Alipay and WeChat sweep payment. Watch 2 Pro also supports third party apps, voice assistant, message reminder and information browsing.

The best thing about Huawei Watch 2 Pro is that it can be  it can be used independently to make cause due to its eSIM option. Although it currently only supports Unicom data packages so at the moment the eSIM option will not be useful if you are outside China.

Overall the watch has a great design and looks classic. We hope that Huawei will launch an international version of Huawei Watch 2 Pro soon with support for more networks.
