Huawei is expected to launch its flagship Mate series devices on October 16. Mate 10 series devices will not be the only Huawei devices to be launched in October. A recent teaser has confirmed that Honor which is a subsidiary of Huawei is also going to launch an Honor X series device on October 11. Honor X are well known for their high quality and less prices. The new entry to this series is no other but the Honor 7X.
Honor has recently posted a teaser on its Weibo page which revealed the launch date of its upcoming Honor 7X device. The poster is marked with “7X” and text which is written in Chinese saying “Honor 7X: To See The Whole World”. Another Weibo post used similar wording “Want to look farther than ordinary people? Higher? Wider?”.
It seems that the Honor will follow the company trend and Honor 7X will be a bezelless device with 5.5 inch screen. Other rumored specs reveal that Honor 7X will be powered by a Kirin 670 processor. The device will have a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is fairly possible that the device will come with EMUI 5.1 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat.
Other features to be expected in Honor 7X are rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C support and most probably a dual rear camera setup. Honor series is well known for its budget friendly prices, Honor 6X was priced at $250 and it is expected that the Honor 7X will also be priced within $220-270. It will be nice to see a good device for this price range. We will have to wait almost 2 more weeks to see what Honor has to offer us.
