Huawei has officially unveiled its latest Honor flagship smartphone Honor 9. There have been a lots of rumors about this device and finally it has been unveiled. As expected it has a 5.15 inch FHD display and is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 960 processor and will be available in two variants. Honor 9 with 4GB RAM will have an internal memory of 64GB and 6GB variant will have 128GB internal memory. Honor 9 also has a microSD option for expandable memory, which can support up to 256GB storage.
Dual camera is becoming a norm and Huawei which already has many devices which come with a dual camera setup. Honor 9 will also have dual cameras 12 megapixel and a 20 megapixel for perfect picture quality. These cameras will have 2x optical zoom. The front camera which is 8MP has an aperture of f/2.0 and is capable of taking some nice selfies.
Honor 9 has a 3,200mAh battery which can easily last a whole day. The device has a USB Type-C charging port. Honor 9 devices will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1.
Honor 9 will be priced around $340 for 4GB/64B and $400 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The company has not mentioned when the devices will be available in US market but it is expected that it will be available in mid of June as the company has already started taking pre-orders in the Chinese market.
