As we all know that Apple will be celebrating its 10th anniversary of its iPhone in just 2 days. There were several rumors that Apple will unveil its iPhone 8 on the same day, but a new leak has confirmed that Apple will reveal its iPhone X along with iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Recently iOS developer Steven Troughon-Smith has discovered reference of iPhone with codename D22 which is actually the iPhone X. This might be the confirmation of several previous rumors claiming that the new iPhone will be launched as iPhone X.

iOS 11 Firmware Leaked Revealing Several Features Of Upcoming iPhone X

Troughton-Smith found these details in final iOS 11 firmware leak. The developer has also discovered references of two more devices named iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. It seems that Apple has decided to jump to iPhone 8 and dropped the S branding tradition for its non-OLED devices. After these details it seems that all the rumors about the iPhone 8 were actually about the iPhone X. The iPhone X will be the nearly-bezelless version of the iPhone whereas iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be the lower-tier LCD phones.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will actually be the upgraded version of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with the same traditional design. The devices will come with A11 chip and wireless charging though charging pad.

iPhone X is what previous leaks were claiming to be iPhone 8, this device will be featuring several of the previously rumored features including bezelless screen, 3D face recognition (Face ID) that will replace Touch ID, upgraded dual-camera (wide-angle and telephoto lenses), wireless charging and support for 4K video at 60 FPS.

Although this leak seems to be very authentic but anything can happen. Apple might decide to change the name of iPhone X at any later moment and we guess we have no other option but to wait for September 12 Apple’s official announcement.
