LG and Qualcomm Reportedly Working on Snapdragon 845

According to reports LG and Qualcomm are reportedly working on Snapdragon 845. LG had plans to power its LG G6 with a Snapdragon 835 processor but was forced to use Snapdragon 821. This was because Samsung had claimed the initial batch of Snapdragon 835 chips for its flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus.

LG and Qualcomm Working on Snapdragon 845

LG has decided not to miss a new Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 845 for its future flagship smartphone which most probably will be LG G7. There are news that LG and Qualcomm have started working together on Snapdragon 845 chip. According to reports Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 will be about 30 percent more efficient then its predecessor Snapdragon 845.

LG made sure not to miss this opportunity. Although LG G6 is a pretty nice flagship but the market trend is to add most latest specs to a flagship phone. After all these days smartphone manufacturers are competing mainly in three key features latest and powerful processor, camera and battery. There is no doubt consumer do prefer the latest processors for their new smartphones. If the rumors are true it is a great move by LG and this will make sure that LG has all supply available for its LG G7 which will most probably be the next flagship by LG.
