Huawei Mate series is no doubt the best handsets manufactured by Huawei. The Mate 9 has been much liked by the tech enthusiasts. We previously reported that Huawei is working on Huawei Mate 10 which will come with the latest Kirin 970 processor. In a recent press release Huawei has confirmed the official launch date for Huawei Mate 10. The company has confirmed that the Huawei Mate 10 will be unveiled at a press conference on 16th October 2017.
Huawei also confirmed on their twitter account that the Mate 10 will be powered by Kirin 970 and the device will be announced in Munich. Huawei CEO Richard Yu also recently announced that the device will be more powerful than the upcoming Apple iPhone 8. Kirin 970 is an octa-core processor housing a quad-core Cortex A73 and a quad-core Cortex A53 cluster. The 10nm processor comes with a maximum clock speed of 2.8GHz. The processor will have a Mali G72 MP8 GPU.
Huawei Kirin 970 is capable of supporting cameras up to 42 megapixels. Kirin 970 also supports dual SIM LTE, LTE Cat 12 and bluetooth 4.2. As we have previously reported the Huawei Mate 10 will have a 6.1 inches screen.
The device is rumored to have a 6.1 inches QHD AMOLED display panel. Mate 10 will come with a 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Huawei Mate 10 will be powered by a Kirin 970 processor which is a Snapdragon 835 competitor. Mate 10 will have USB Type C connector and dual camera setup which is branded by Leica. The device will have a 4000mAh battery.
