OnePlus 5T Expected To Be Launched At Same Price As OnePlus 5 On November 16


Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oneplus has gained popularity due to its high end devices at comparatively less prices. There have been lots of rumors regarding OnePlus 5T lately and now OnePlus has confirmed that the company will launch OnePlus 5T globally on November 16.

OnePlus 5T will be launched globally at an event in New York. The company seems to be following the same strategy adopted by Samsung and Sony. Both the companies have revealed their flagship phones at events in New York.

Oneplus 5T is most likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The device will come in two variants 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM +128GB storage. The OnePlus 5T will share the same hardware as OnePlus 5 but a slightly different design. Unlike OnePlus 5 which comes with a 5.5 inch FHD AMOLED display, OnePlus 5T will come with a 6.01 inch display with a screen resolution 1080 x 2160 pixels.

It seems that OnePlus has finally decided to follow the market trend and the OnePlus 5T will have the same aspect ratio 18:9 as latest flagship device by other companies. The OnePlus 5T will come with a 16+20 MP dual rear camera and a 20 MP front camera.

OnePlus 5T will come with  bezel-less screen and have a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to come with out of the box Android 8.0 Oreo support. According to reply on a Weibo post by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau the OnePlus 5T will be priced under CNY 4000 which is approximately $600.

According to another leak by anonymous source from British carrier O2 has claim that the OnePlus 5T prices will be the same as OnePlus 5. According to the source OnePlus 5T 128GB version will be priced at £500 approximately $656. We will have to wait for the official launch on November 16. The device will be available in stores starting from November 21.
