Samsung has announced another dual camera smartphone in China, this time it is Galaxy C8. Galaxy C8 is powered by a Octa-core 2.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Android 7.1 Nougat. The Galaxy C8 comes with a dual camera setup with 13MP f/1.7 aperture and 5MP f/1.9 aperture. The front camera has a 16MP sensor. Galaxy C8 has a 5.5 inch super AMOLED display screen with 1920×1080 pixel display resolution.
Galaxy C8 will come in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and the second one with a 4GB and 64GB internal storage. The device will come in three different colors Black, Rose Gold and Gold. It will be powered with a 3000mAh battery.
Other features include facial recognition, fingerprint sensor, Bixby voice assistant, Glonass for navigation, Bluetooth 4.2 and Always On Display. Always On Display will allow the users to view notification without turning on the phone.
Samsung seems to be more serious in dominating the dual camera phone competition. Galaxy C8 is the third dual camera device launched in a month by Samsung. Samsung launched Galaxy Note 8 on August 24, Galaxy J7+ on September 5 in Thailand and Galaxy C8 in China on September 8. The device will be priced at $400 and will soon be available in market.
