Samsung has launched Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus this year along with a successful Galaxy Note 8. All these devices were much appreciated by the users. Samsung fans were the first to get their hands on a device powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. A new leak has confirmed that Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be the first to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
Benjamin Geskin who is a well know technology reporter has revealed that Samsung S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will be powered be powered by Snapdragon 845. It was also revealed that the standard models of both the devices will come with a 6GB RAM. Benjamin Geskin also revealed that Snapdragon 845 chip will remain Samsung exclusive for some time.

Earlier rumors mentioned that the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will come with Exynos 9 SoC. It is quite possible that the Samsung will launch two variants with different processors as they have done it in the past. There have been rumors that Samsung had already bagged Snapdragon 845 processor before the launch of Galaxy Note 8.
It has also been claimed that the Samsung will most probably follow the same trend and launch both Samsung S9 and S9 Plus at MWC event on February 26, 2018 unless there are any technical delays. It has also been rumored that the device will have QHD Infinity display and will come with IP68 feature and will be dust and water resistant. The device might also come with front facing fingerprint sensor placed in the front panel.
