Upgrade Your OnePlus 3 And 3T To Android 8.0 Oreo And OnePlus 5 With OxygenOS 4.5.13

OnePlus was one of the first smartphone manufacturers who started working on upgrading it devices with Android 8.0 Oreo updates. OnePlus unlike other companies did not abandon its old devices, instead OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices will get an update before OnePlus 5. OnePlus released a closed beta update one month ago and now they have released an update through Open Beta program.

OnePlus 3 And 3T Upgrade To Android 8.0 Oreo

OnePlus has released Android Oreo open beta build for both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. OxygenOS Open Beta 25 is for OnePlus 3 devices and Open Bet 16 is for OnePlus 3T device. The new update will enhance the previous features and offer some new features which were introduced in OnePlus 5.

Some new features include picture in picture mode which will now support apps including YouTube and Google Maps, auto fill, smart text selection, new settings design and security patch.  The new update will also come with some new changes made to the launcher.

Besides Open Beta updates OnePlus has also released update for OxygenOS for OnePlus 5. OxygenOS 4.5.13 update will now be rolled out incrementally through Over-The-Air (OTA). OnePlus has already started a phased roll out of OxygenOS 4.5.13 update and confirmed that broader rollout will start in a few days.

The OxygenOS 4.5.13 update includes several customization which include notification ringtones, optimized adaptive brightness, app launching speed, fix for no 4G+ network issue in some regions  and improvement to YouTube video experience. The update will also fix some of the general bugs and UI issues.
