Xiaomi is launching device after device, after launching Android One “Mi A1” on September 5 Xiaomi is already teasing with Xiaomi Mi Note 3 which is the larger version of Xiaomi Mi 6. Mi Mix 2 is the successor of Mi Mix and it will be launched in China on September 11. Mi Mix 2 appears to be the bezel-free device with a large screen of 6.2 inches.
Li Bin who is the co-founder of Xiaomi posted a teaser image on his official Weibo account with captions that mentions of Mi Mix2 and another phone which looks similar to the Mi 6 but larger in size. It is expected that it is the Mi Note 3. It is expected that Xiaomi will launch two handsets one of them is confirmed to be Mi Mix 2 and the other is most probably the Mi Note 3. This might be the actual plan as Xiaomi did release its Mi Mix and Mi Note 2 same day last year.
Mi Mi 2 will have a edge to edge display, Snapdragon 835 processor, it will have 6.2 inch AMOLED display with 2960×1440 pixel resolution. The device will come in two variants 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage and will have a battery capacity of 4,500mAh. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is also expected to feature face recognition. It is also rumored that the device will have a 20MP camera or may be dual camera setup.
Mi Note 3 will have a 5.7 inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a Snapdragon 835 processor. The device will come in two variants 6GBof RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage and will have a battery capacity of 4,000mAh and fast battery charging (Quick Charge 3.0). The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is also expected to feature face recognition. It is also rumored that the device will have a 12 MP camera setup. I guess we will have to wait for September 11 to see what Xiaomi has to offer us.
