Xiaomi released its Xiaomi Mi Max phablet in 2016, after its success the Xiaomi has decided to add another member to this family. Xiaomi has officially confirmed its new phablet Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Xiaomi like its predecessor carries the same sized 6.44 inch 1920×1080 display.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is an upgraded version of Mi Max. The upgrades include a larger battery 5300mAh capacity and a Quick Charge 3.0 which will allow it to get charged in less time. Other specification include Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64/128GB internal storage and microSD slot.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with a 12 megapixel rear camera along with Sony IMX386 sensor. The front camera is 5 megapixel with wide angle lens. Other features include unibody metal frame, fingerprint reader on the back, USB Type-C and IR blaster.
It has been confirmed that Xiaomi will launch its Mi Max2 in China on June 01, 2017 with a starting price of RMB1699 ($248). The price for Mi Max2 with 128GB internal storage is expected to be around RMB2000 ($292).
