ZTE is quickly gaining popularity in the Asian markets. Its subsidiary Nubia has produced some quality products in the recent past which include Nubia Z11 which was released in 2016 and Nubia Z17 in June 2017. Nubia Z17 was one of the first devices to integrate 8GB RAM in a smartphone. The brand is not as famous as Huawei, Xiaomi and even OPPO but they have put some efforts to get there smartphone into limelight. Nubia has introduced Nubia Z17S.
The Nubia Z17S is a high end device with 5.73-inch edge-to-edge display with screen resolution of 1080×2040. The device comes with latest Snapdragon 835 processor, in two variants 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device comes with Android Nougat out of the box with Nubia’s own UI 5.1 on top.
The main feature of the Z17S is it bezel-less design and four camera setup. The device uses the same rear camera used in Nubia Z17 which is 12MP + 23MP combination but Nubia Z17S comes with dual front camera with a combination of 5MP + 5MP. The device offers 2x optical zoom and dual tone LED flash.
The device is designed with aluminum alloy metal body which is categorized as aviation grade. The screen comes with Gorrilla Glass 5. Fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel. Nubia Z17S comes with a 3100mAh battery which supports 26W fast charging, the company claims that you can charge 50% battery in 25 minutes.
The device comes in Blue and Black colors and is available for pre-orders at JD.com. The price for 6GB version is $455 and the 8GB version is available for $607. The pre-order will continue until October 19. The device will be available for sales after pre-orders period.
