Google Expected To Release Android 8.0 On August 21, 2017. Recently Google has released the last scheduled development preview of upcoming Android 8.0 operating system. This means that the final version of Android 8.0 will be soon rolled out Google Pixel and maybe Nexus devices. Google has previously announced that they are working on Android 8.0 version of the operating system. Although the version name is not officially announced but according to sources the new version will be dubbed as “Oreo”.

It is expected that Android 8.0 will be released in the third quarter of 2017. As the previous record shows the new OS will be first rolled out to Google Pixel devices. According to a tweet by VentureBeat’s Evan Blass Android 8.0 will start rolling out to Google devices starting from August 21, 2017.

The Android 8.0 will bring several UI enhancements along with some new features like ability to update Android devices in conditions where there is no space available in the device. The new OS will also bring support for Bluetooth 5.0 to supported devices. Smartphone manufacturers will release there OEMs soon after the release. Although there are still a lots of smartphones which have not received the Anrdoid 7.0 Nougat yet but it is expected that some of the leading manufacturers will start rolling out Android 8.0 update for their flagship phones by the end of 2017.
